# CV

For ten years I’ve built products across web, mobile, backend and AI. Most recently I’ve been the founding engineer at Exoplan, and earlier I led a team of 8 at Sparkle.

Tools: TypeScript · React · Swift · SwiftUI · Node.js · Python · PostgreSQL · Firebase · LLM agents

## Experience

1. 2025 – now

    ### Exoplan

    Founding engineer

An energy-aware calendar for iPhone and Apple Watch, made with designer Paul Never. I was the only engineer.

    - Built the model that turns 8 weeks of Apple Health data into a daily energy estimate for each person.
    - Built the AI assistant that drafts your schedule. It asks the iPhone for your live calendar and energy data before it answers.
    - Built the sleep score: it cleans up Apple Health sleep data and rates each night against your own last 30 days.

    Built with: Swift · SwiftUI · Node.js · Python · Firebase · LLM agents

2. Mar 2023 – Aug 2025

    ### SRTX, makers of Sheertex

    Product engineer

Software for the factory of a Y Combinator textile company.

    - Moved all the core factory dashboards to live data and rebuilt reporting with advanced filtering, so managers see production as it happens.
    - Delivered a waste tracking system from the ground up, replacing a manual process with a digital one.
    - Built 8 warehouse and inventory modules that put material handling, stock splitting and location inspections on a screen.

    Built with: TypeScript · React · Node.js · PostgreSQL

3. Sep 2022 – Feb 2023

    ### Career break

The war in Ukraine started. I volunteered and built a few pet projects.

4. Mar – Jul 2022

    ### Turbota

    Co-founder, non-profit

A “marketplace of help” for Ukrainian refugees and people in need.

    - Started it as a non-profit while I was a refugee myself.
    - Led a team of 6 across product, engineering, marketing and support. We launched the first version in 3 weeks.
    - Got 5 Instagram influencers with a combined following of 1.35 million to feature it, which doubled as a stress test.

    Built with: Angular · Firebase

5. Dec 2020 – Aug 2022

    ### Sparkle

    Lead software engineer

A platform for online events and festivals, including Burning Man online.

    - Joined as a senior engineer and grew into leading and coaching a team of 8.
    - Designed the rework that let the platform handle up to 100,000 people at once.
    - Traced a freeze that stopped the app for 3 minutes whenever close to 1,000 people were on, and fixed it in the open-source library that caused it.
    - Led the work with an outside games studio on the interactive map that hosted Burning Man online.

Built with: TypeScript · React · Firebase

6. 2016 – 2020

    ### Frontend engineer

Schibsted, Innovecs, Corva, K-3Soft and GeekMyWeb

5 web projects for media, finance, oil and gas, advertising and recruitment companies.

    - At Schibsted, a media company of more than 1,000 people: launched a set of shared interface parts that 3 teams used.
    - At Upstox, a stock trading platform: built the service that lets traders keep 3 or more tabs open without extra connections.
    - At Corva: cut the app’s load time by more than 70%, and brought in peer code reviews.

Built with: JavaScript · TypeScript · React · Redux
